This book is written for both children and adults. Whether we are children or adults, we all carry within us a mother, father, and child, and our struggles stem from the suppression of our inner child by our inner parents. The only way to fix this is by changing our prejudices towards children.
All Children Are Good is the final book in the trilogy that began with There Is No Such Thing as a Perfect Family. There are no bad children. If a child exhibits behavior we call “bad,” it is because they have been treated wrongly. “Bad” behaviors are actually cries for help from the child.
All children are good. So is the child within us. If we can understand that the child is inherently good, we can parent them better. This way, the child will no longer need to resort to behaviors labeled as “bad,” “wrong,” or “problematic.”
Our inner child is waiting to be understood and for its call for help to be heard. Once we learn to listen to it, we will also learn to parent ourselves in the right way, and in doing so, we will transform into individuals who can resolve their own issues and defend their rights naturally.
